THE COMMUNITY OF OUR LADY OF CZESTOCHOWA
Charismatic Community of Fellowship devoted to Worship, to Intercession and to Evangelisation, recognized as Private Association of Believers by the Diocese of Rome
We believe that the Community “our Lady of Czestochowa” should be included among the realities born by the Holy Spirit.
“Our Lady of Czestochowa” was established in 1981. It comes from the stream of grace named Catholic Charismatic Renewal which is part of the movement “Renewal in the Holy Spirit”. It has center in the parish church of N.S. di Czestochowa in Rome. Since 2019 the spiritual assistant of the Community is Don Simone Carosi, priest of the Diocese of Rome.
The Community strains to open the way to Evangelisation to those who have nearly abandoned their Christian life or, living apathetically, they need to be awaken and to be transformed inside. The Community wants to be part of the Catholic Church, being Clerical, Centred on Christ and Marian. The Holy Virgin Mary is the model of virtues in front of the whole Community that will venerate and invoke her with filial affection as a Beloved Mother. It wants to serve the Church in communion with her Bishop, according to all commitments and aims aroused by the statutory rules as approved by the Cardinal Vicar S.E. Camillo Ruini.
The path of the Community is based on two foundations: conversion and evangelisation. It is formed by a Group of Prayer and by a Community of Service. The first is constituted by the Brothers with their personal experience of Pentecost, known as “Baptism in the Holy Spirit”. They will take part to the meetings of Prayer and to the seminars for spiritual growth, demonstrating all the charismas they have received. The Community of Service wants to be the answer to the calling of God to live Christian experience in a stable commitment. Such commitment fulfils in a covenant among members to love and serve God, to love and serve themselves mutually according to their specific calling. They participate to a path of growth based on education, sharing and reviewing of their lives. They participate to the meetings for Eucharistic worship called “Burning Bush”.
The life of the Community is like entering the Cenacle to receive strength from Holy Spirit and coming out to donate to whom is in troubles or distressed and anguished, because through the Evangelisation that the Community can retransmit best of all the Love that God offers plenty and for free.
The Community is a member of the Catholic Fraternity, private association of Christian Believers, International of Pontifical law, born to contribute to strength and promote the Catholic expression among the Charismatic movements.
